2. Unnecessary consumption of sugar


While unnecessary consumption of sugar leads to diseases like diabetes, it is also destructive to mental health. People who have high blood sugar levels for many years also have high levels of glucose in the brain.
 According to a study, the brain converts sugar into glucose to provide energy for brain functions, but in people whose brain fails to break down glucose, symptoms of Alzheimer's disease begin to appear. Apart from this, the symptoms of memory loss i.e. dementia are also found in people who consume too much sugar.

3. Keeping the wallet in the back pocket


If you are also used to carrying a heavy wallet in your back pocket, this habit can lead to constant back pain in the future. This condition is commonly known as wallet sciatica. The incidence of this disease is higher in men than in women.

Especially for those gentlemen who travel with their wallets in their back pockets for long periods of time. Which puts stress on their back nerves. Apart from this, due to this habit, one may suffer from various other diseases such as severe pain in the lower parts of the feet, ankles and lower back. As a precaution it is best to remove the wallet from the back pocket before sitting down.

4. Constant sitting


According to a recent study, sitting in one place for a long time increases the chances of early death. People who sit a lot can suffer from cancer or heart diseases. Also, sitting for 12 hours or more per day increases the risk of diabetes by 80%. 

So caution is necessary because according to WHO physical inactivity is the fourth leading cause of death worldwide as well as leading cause of various diseases.


5. Use of smartphones


In today's era mobile phone has become a necessity of every person but there are some people who use mobile phone not just for necessity but as a habit. But do you know that the continuous and unnecessary use of mobile phones can cause various diseases and if the condition worsens, surgery may also be required. 

According to recent research, the way users hold their neck while using the phone increases the stress on the neck muscles. Which leads to indirectly affecting different organs of the body. Also, using the phone unnecessarily can lead to a disease called tectonic neck syndrome, which can damage you on a permanent basis.
